William & Kate: Valentine’s Day Date

Prince William and longtime love Kate Middleton spent a low-key Valentine’s Day in Berkshire, where the two popped in to a pub for a romantic bite to eat.

The two were photographed walking in to The Pot Kiln in Frilsham, Berkshire, accompanied by an older man, likely William’s protection officer.  The pub is located only minutes from Bucklebury, the small Berkshire village where the Middleton family lives.

The Pot Kiln was refurbished by Mike Robinson and was the filming location for the cooking series Heavens KitchenThe pub’s website touts, “If you are searching for Heaven on Earth, look no further than this beautiful corner of rural England and in the midst of this country setting is the kind of English country pub of which dreams are made.”

I wonder why they look so glum?

  2. Annie says:

Possibly because they knew that there were paparazzi lurking nearby and they just wanted to be alone?

On another subject, I really like Kate’s wrap/coat…it reminds me of fashions in the 80s with the big cowl neck. Fun!

To be fair, they never really look terribly enthusiastic when they are photographed! I think it’s more about discomfort with the media, especially on William’s part, than about anything else, probably.

Run William run – leave this woman – this is not working out, you need something fresh and nice. You don’t look happy and i don’t think it will get better…so just skip and get a life William. That family will eat you alive.

They look glum because miss lazy kate has so much time on her hands and puts pressure on the prince. She needs to get busy so that she can focus on herself and not the throne…she is too much pressure. The Prince is not ready to get married..Kate needs to understand that..he has a duty to the state and currently working to fulfill those obligations. Kate needs to work as well so that she can focus on understanding what regular people do – work.

Kate has a job, sheba. She works for her family’s party supply company, Party Pieces.

I hope they had a wonderful time :)
